Our Process

We will visit with you to understand your goals for your custom home. We’ll discuss key elements—including budget, timeline, and overall vision.
A preliminary build cost is determined based on historical cost per square foot of comparable builds.

Through a series of meetings, we will collaborate with an architect or drafting service to bring your vision to life with a proposed floor plan and design showcased through 3D video, realistic renderings, and technical floor plans.
Consulting fees vary based on project scope and whether we engage a licensed architect or drafting service.

Together, we’ll curate premium finishes and collect construction bids from our trusted industry partners to prepare a detailed proposal.
A 1% fee based on the preliminary build cost is required.

Before breaking ground, we’ll review a comprehensive project proposal outlining the final floor plan, build cost, construction schedule, and design details.
The Construction Contract will include a payment schedule. Previous fees will be applied to the final project cost.

As your build progresses, we’ll guide you through milestone walkthroughs to ensure everything aligns with your vision. Your dedicated project manager will provide regular updates, answer questions, and keep your project running smoothly from start to finish.

At project completion, we’ll mark the moment with a celebratory toast before leaving you to enjoy your new home. Salt Creek Homes Company offers a one year builder warranty and 10-year structural warranty on all new builds.
